Working from Home with Kids (or just even being home with kids...)
At this point in time chances are you or someone you know is on an extended spring break -and while we all LOVE our kids, we all know this amount of time together will likely lead to chaos and perhaps a few head aches.
I work from home on a regular basis, so we have conquered winter break, snow days, sick days, and in-service days over the past few years. But this is a whole other animal. 2-4 weeks of trying to be a productive employee and keep my five year old twins engaged and learning.
My wonderful mom group- the Upper Merion Moms- came up with a number of helpful sites to keep kids occupied and I've compiled them below to help moms in similar situations.
Today, on Containment Day 1, we did Cosmic Kids Yoga for about 45 minutes and then another 45 minutes of Art class with Art Hub (what an adorable site-- It was my first time using it!). We also spent as much time outside as possible, made lunch together, and had a little screen time (it's going to happen, everyone needs to decompress!). I'm hoping that this list combined with random iPad games, Frozen II, Ryan's Mystery PlayDate and unopened birthday gifts make the next two weeks memorable in the best way possible...
